Wind Direction: SE Wind Strength: gentle breeze Swell Direction: E Swell Size: head Tide: Low - Rising.

Everything was going great until I really put some effort into catching a wave, then something in my back felt like it suddenly went into the wrong place. I paddled back in, went home and cursed physical limitations.

Significant wave height of 3.2 m and period of 11sec. Every surfer in Hawkes Bay was on the water today, and it's supposed to continue for a couple of days. I think there'll be a lot of sick days logged tomorrow!
