A great little session on a magic glassy Sunday. I parked at Chris' office in Mana and we walked our big bertha boards along the road, down to the boat ramp, turning a few heads on the way. We opted for rashies and boardies, so maybe that was why the heads were turning - crazy guys!
Well, the water was a bit fresh on the toes but we were confident that was the only part of us that was going to get wet, so off we went, pushing against the tide going under the bridge to start with, then into the millpond that was the inlet. Super glassy and clear, we paddled up around the point, checking out some of the flash houses along the way. Not too many other water craft around - just us. Damn fine!
The cruise back with the outgoing tide was pretty quick, and before we knew it we were back at the boat ramp, then into a beer. Great stuff.
