Big, big, big day on Maui's north shore on Tuesday. Short period big surf mostly closed out Hookipa. Uppers was mast and half high, Lowers, was mast high. The outer reef at Uppers was setting up making for big mile-long half-pipe-like tunnels between waves. No room for mistakes. Lots of adrenaline pumping and flowing. Pretty extreme to say the least.
