I love my Kona longboard (www.kona-windsurfing.com)! Normally in these conditions I would not have had either a good windsurfing or surf session, but the Kona was perfect. Rigged the 6.2, popped it on the Kona, and headed out through the waves. Was on the plane most of the time and nicely powered. Wind was blowing a solid 16 knots East and the waves were coming in waist high closer to shore. Santiago came and joined for a while too and we sailed out to the island, where the waves were considerably bigger (some almost head high).
Had loads of great waves and only came in because I eventually ran out of enery. Next time I must take the GoPro and get some footage.
