I've been to this spot many many times since I started windsurfing and I think this is the best session I ever had there. Lots of locals on the beach agreed to say the same. For them who ride the area more often, it's been one of the best session this year. I managed to steal my old man's car for the day and went to the beach around 11 am. Couple of guys were out already and it looked pretty good. Robin Goffinet (7th Wave/Ezzy/Sooruz) was ripping. A photograph was shooting him and his mate from the beach. The wind was quite offshore but it wasn't too hard to catch the wave. I sailed for a while and then went for some lunch. When I came back, around 2 pm, the carpark was full of windsurfers and kiters. A lot of people in the water. I took my time and went out again. The light, the colour of the water, the level in the water made this session special. Sunny all day, turquoise waters, goiters and bouncy aerials, are the recipe for an epic day at Tronoen. Later in the afternoon, my mate Lucien went out. I joined him for an ultimate late arvo session. The tide was high, waves shorter... it wasn't as good as during the day but still... we had fun. See the picture of me during the last session. It doesn't really reflect the full conditions of the day. See more at www.anavelvor.fr There should be more photos of the morning session soon.
