General Information

Brighton is a favorite spot for kiters, particuarly wave riders. Some of the best wave riders in Australia call this their local.

To surf, it needs around 2m of swell, but for kiting anything over 1m gives you some nice little kickers.

Brighton can get pretty crowded during Summmer when the sea breeze kicks in.
