Wind was blowing fairly strong S-SE all day after a change came through last night. Got some free time after 3:30pm so went down to check it out. Wind was light (maybe 15kn max), but there was one guy out on an ozone 13m and twintip doing ok so I decided to go out.
I used my Best Spark 134 twintip and the 12m BWS Noise. The shorebreak was more intense than it looked from the beach but made it out no worries after turning back a few times as the bigger waves came through. Was mostly well powered, and trucking up wind no problems. Tried a few jumps today but didn't really get any height and went under the kite a few times. Fortunately, the Noise kite just drifted back and I could rescue the situation. After a while the wind really felt like it was dying off so I came in.
Not a bad session but pretty short.
