Went for a surf with my youngest son. He was on his softboard, and I was on my 6 foot board. We went out in front of the carpark at North Narra. Surf was smallish, 2 foot maybe, with set waves showing nice size faces bigger than that (big waves according to my son). It was clean and glassy, and a sunny day. There's not much swell, but North Narra seems to be catching it, and the waves were really nice and fun.
We were a little down from a nice peak and a larger crowd but I caught a few nice waves. My son got hammered a few times and caught a few. A fun afternoon surf on a beautiful Sydney summer's day (they've been few and far between this summer).
