16knots of wind from North West, 13°C, sometimes sun, and a water temperature of 11,5°C, so without boots and cap this time. On the water with 2 other surffanatics Kees and Richard. When I arrived, Kees was planning well and I rigged a 5.9 Severne S1 for my 217x61x103L twinzer. I didn't know he used a 3 batten 5.8 sail, and for me the 5.9 turned out to give too little power for the onshore conditions. Therefore I changed boards and went windsupping with the Drops Vulcan 8'10. Could catch some nice shoulder high sets with this board. Frontside waveriding was quite difficult with the big sail and board, but I suprised myself with some solid backside riding by making topturns at the peaks. Not perfect conditions, but still very nice to be on the water.
