18°C, clouded with upconing sun, and I measured 16-18knots from West (20knots at the buoys according internet). Thought that the wind was not enough for my Twinzer 217x61x103L, and decided to rig my Mauisails Legend 5.3m² to go with the Drops Vulcan 8'10. Managed to tune the sail perfectly with a 4m unifiber hardtop, to get a full profile with not too much looseness. Thought to give it a try with the 103L twinzer, and fortunately I did. Could easily get through the waist high surf and plane, and do some solid frontside waveriding.
