Again trick conditions to decide what kite to pump, I get to the beach and the wind was IMO for the 12 meters but the majority of people was riding 9 , start to ride and 10 meters. After talk with some people I decided to pump the 12 meter Dice. Pump it, put the two boards in the grass (twin-tip and surfboard) grab the twin-tip head to the water and ..... no wind. Everybody was stopping or waiting. After maybe 15 minutes waiting in the water the wind pick up a little and I decided to have a go, feet in the straps, dive the kite, start to ride...and realise I was not hooked. I didn't know what happen but the chicken dick get out some how and I was riding unhooked for the first time. Because everything was looking good, I ride for a while and grab the chicken loop and hooked it again, was much easier than I thought will be, of course the wind was light. Was a nice day riding, I ride a bit with Jordan's twin-tip board and now I started to felt some difference, not major but some. First his board have small fins this make the board more loose, but the big difference was when I was loading and popping, his board "hold" better and make easier to load. After I came back to my board and I could see the small changes in the shape and size make difference in how we can ride. In the end I didn't ride my surfboard, I know I should but I was so happy kitting than I didn't want to fall in each transition, but next time I will ride most of the time with the surfboard. I saw a lot of people I didn't meet for a while, the wind start to come back slowly, still not what was last summer, but is getting back.
