Wind Direction: SW Wind Strength: powered

Shoal Bay - Dice 9m twin-tip Jaime 136cm with Bruno, Fabio and Ticiana.

The weather forecast was to be a very strong wind but when I get there was not that strong, I was waiting until the water start to go behind the sand spit, Ticiana launched my kite and I start with almost no water there, only other 2 guys was kiting behind the spit Bruno and other guy. The wind was good, gust as always in Shoal but good wind.

My session was very fun, I did many jumps, some very well, others not so well. One I remember was one I did just in the beginning of the session, I jump relative high for my standard and I don't know what happen but suddenly I felt the kite pulling me hard I look the kite I saw the kite on the power zone, I believe I pulled too much the bar and the kite start a loop, when the kite pulled my body went horizontal, I could pull the kite back but was too late and I felt hard on my side, didn't have much water but the mud softener my falling. Nothing bad happened only some body pain on the next day.

I rode all session behind the spit, some times was very busy and I couldn't find a spot to jump, I probably was in the way of some people and some people was on my way. Is a kind of frustration some times because was difficult to find a spot to jump, I tried go further down, I tried kiting very close to the spit, I tried a lot of different stuff. What worked for me was sailing on the starboard tack until very close land, really I stopped before the line where the wind die, and waiting until I will be the last one there and no one is coming toward me, this was enough for I start ride get some speed and jump. Sometimes I can't jump on the middle of the spit and need to ride a bit more to get more speed and someone could be on my way, but on average it worked.

I should have tried back roll, it doesn't look very difficult, Bruno is doing all the time very well. The other thing I need to start to try is jump on starboard tack, till now I can only jump on the port tack but if I learn the starboard tack will be much easier in Shoal
