Information about Castle Point Beach, what's done there and who does it
Stand Up Paddle Boarding - Surfing
Clayton once said it was shit (real shit) in a NW...
If you get the chance take a drive Nth up the coast, you might find a point break or reef thats working nicely

The hills around the Castle point area seem to do weird things to the wind. NW or SW often looks like its sailable but don't be fooled, as it often quite offshore.
If there is any amount of West in the wind it gets sucked down the valleys and bends in weird ways, some times coming from upto 80-150% degrees in places.
The NW winds can be seriously strong out here as the wind is accelerated by the hills.
SW winds are also a bit iffy and don't really make it in close to shore. You can often see it really smoking just off shore and be nearly glassy calm on the beach.
Sth, Nth of anyhting with E in it would work best here.
