No-one could make it for a downwinder this afternoon so I took the opportunity to get a flatwater session in at Melville.
The wind was pretty light on with a fair few guys pumped up on the beach with their 9m's waiting for the wind that never came.
One guy on an orange Cabrhina had his kite doing death loops, but looked more concerned about his board. Given the kite looked farked I grabbed the board and ran it into shore, he ended up getting back in just in time before the houses - lucky!
I had a few decent little jumps, nothing special thou. Stuffed up every backroll I tried which was disapointing.
Graydon was out there having a decent run downwind, he's goind pretty well.
