Beautiful summers day so I arranged to meet Deane at Muriwai for an SUP session. Unfortunately for him, he discovered that he had no paddle so brought long board instead. The tide was a bit low and the waves were closing out but I caught some great ones.
Apparently it was "micro" sized but the big ones didn't seem that small to me.
The water was crystal clear and you could see hundreds of bait fish in the water which the gannets were diving for, some only about a metre from the board.
