Awesome "after work" Lyall. Was sitting at work, watching rising southerly. Kiters appeared in Lyall2 webcam with whitecaps behind them. Arrived there at 7, was surprised to find Colin alone riding small (but rising) swell in front of surf club. I desided to go on 5.4, but forgot it at home. So went out on 5.8 to be very well powered. Got a lot of nice jumps and small wave rides. 3 consistent gybes in a row (smallest wave board) made my day. Wind was really nice turning from onshore to sideshore. Swell was constantly rising, at the dark tim it became to be quite good, but it was time to go out. Back to work for couple of hours.
