Forecast was alright, weather was good. Wind was strong on the whole island, but actually too east for le Morne. Unfortunately we were spot-bound today, so we had no other option. At arrival by bus and hitchhike the wind was aruond 2 bft.. Some gusts came through at 6 bft, but not reliable enough to go out.. after a while I took my chance and went out first.. after some struggling and sometimes planing the wind increased.. suddenly it was 6 bft for about an hour.. full / overpower, but great fun.. played a bit in the waves at inner reef, and had just one backloop attempt due to the circumstances.. wind stayed gusty the whole day.. i left the spot at around 5, again lifting with some guys. great system :)
