The whole day I was looking at the actual data and saw it was windy enough, but I had to work :( It took my stuff with the in the car, because my motorbike is in repair this would be quicker.
At 1610 I left work and I was on the water at 1800 along with Steps most windsurfers just cae from the water, because the wind had dropped. But I saw it picked up again and I gave it a try..the wind was off and on but mostly enough to get trought the break and sometimes strong enough to take jumps.. A few times I was jumping a wave and lost power while taking off, result: just drop out of the air :)
Around 1845 the wind picked up a little bit more wich came in very handy to sail upwind to the current wich got pretty strong. Because of this I couldn't really make a lot of wave rides... The time I did I ended up very far downwind and I had to fight my way back upwind.
Steps filmed a very nice waveride, hopefully the camera wasn't foggy...I also wore the cam myself and met a very nice wave wich I jumped AND got power in the sail while jumping
